Okemos Community Church ‘s August Mission Buckets gifts will support the Love Clothing Center for School Age Children, which is affiliated with Christian Services. The Love Clothing Center opened in 1989, to help the growing number of school age children needing good clothing. The Center is staffed entirely by volunteers at Judson Memorial Baptist Church has served 26,000 in 21 years.
How can you help? The Center accepts cash and donations of new clothing ans clean gently warn used clothing. Items especially needed are socks(new), under ware (new), pants and shirts in sizes 4through 16. If you wish to volunteer at the center please call them directly at 882-5961
