The OCC women will be selling a reusable fiber cloth (16×16) which will make your spring cleaning easier and eco friendly! This reusable works with out cleansers and is lint free. Wet it, wring it, wipe any surface to remove dirt and dust. Just machine wash when dirty and air dry! The women will be selling these cloths for $5 each at the May breakfast and in the church office. Profits will go towards OCC Women’s Mission.

We are finished taking photos at the church.  However, members and friends of the congregation who still need to have photos taken may do so at the studio of J.D. Small. 132 Three Oaks Dr. Williamston.

Dinner at 5:50 in the Social Hall.  Program at 6:30 in the Chapel.  Our guest this week is Susan Cancro, from Advent House Ministries.  She will be speaking on this organization’s ministry to the homeless in Lansing.

The Okemos Community Church prayer group will meet on Thursday, April 15^th, at 7:30 p.m., in the Chapel.

The Okemos Community Church Spring Yard Sale is this weekend, Friday, April 16^th – Saturday, April 17^th, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Our mission “bucket” offering for the month of April will go to the Robeson County Church and Community Center.  This agency is an example of God’s people working together to meet the needs of those in the area through literacy programs and tutor training, senior citizen assistance and medical equipment loan, a food pantry and other needed services.

Time to start registering!

Spring Clean-up around Okemos Community Church will be on Saturday May 1, 2010 at 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Volunteers are need to help:

• Trim bushes and trees
• Weed the flowerbeds
• Haul away the debris
• Anything else you see

Please bring your yard gloves, rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and tree trimmers.

Join us in room 105 to start planning decor and activities for Vacation Bible School.  “Baobab Blast” will be August 9-12 in the evening.

We had a wonderful time at the Spring Break Work Project in east Tennessee.  Sunset Gap is a great host.
